Brandon Farrell's Notes:

Louisa has always been a master of making very tasty rosΓ©, so naturally, I was interested in making a rosΓ© from her juice. When tasting a specific plot of Grenache, "Blanc de Noir," it was light in color but packed a brilliant, refreshing note with the subtle power of resilient red wine.

My initial vision was to make a wine inspired by Domaine Marquiliani Le RosΓ© De Pauline Vin De Corse, one of the best rosΓ©s I have ever tasted. With this in mind but still wanting to stay true to California, I added 10% of a non-vin gris rosΓ© of Grenache from the same vineyard to enhance the fruit. All said and done, the wine came out with the exact color of a Vin Gris but packs a surprising punch of flavor and structure.

The artwork was created by Niki Farrell while living in Aix Provence. The painting of a sax player in the streets of Aix was the perfect connection to this rosΓ©.
