Brandon Farrell's Notes:
"The Others!! This is a concept that I am very excited about! Burgundy, the Mecca of white wine for the famed Chardonnay and its little cousin Aligote… but let’s not forget about the “other” cousins of Burgundy, Pinot Blanc & Pinot Gris. So naturally, Aliens sipping on wine came to mind when talking about the Others, which I decided had to be the label! Expect to see this one on a shirt soon.As for the wine, this is a masterpiece; the perfect aging in cask, the perfect blend, the perfect balance of structure & fruit.
The final product of this wine I best described in a short text I sent to my friends when tasting it for the first time, finished… 'I’m actually shocked at how good this came out. Jasmine flowers, honeysuckle, graham cracker, Meyer lemon & lime zest, salty core, & tension from lingering acid. Reminds me if Chandon de Briailles Corton Blanc, Lafarge Aligote & Henri Gouges Pinot Blanc were blended together, then took a trip to California and got touched by some California Sun! This is just the first rendition of something special with 'other' grapes, as they have something very special going on in Santa Maria & Santa Barbara."
